How the game works
Bets are placed on single numbers, groups, colours, or odd/even outcomes. A ball is spun around a numbered wheel and the resting pocket determines the result.
Wheel layouts differ between variants, and the number of zero pockets changes the mathematics of every bet on the table.
Probability concepts
Each spin is independent. Previous results carry no information about the next one — the belief that they do is known as the gambler's fallacy.
Payouts are set below the true odds of each outcome, which is the source of the house edge.
